This page of the site is in response to the interest shown after our first audio visual evening, in 2010.

Unfortunately the "A" part of AV, the audio element of presentations, raises issues of copyright when in a public forum so the shows available to view have had their soundtracks removed, at least for now. It may be that the soundtracks can be restored in the future; let's hope so because the presentations definitely have more impact with them.

Nevertheless, given the work that went into putting the shows together, we thought it would be worth putting the visual segments on display as stand-alone slideshows. We hope you find them interesting.

Click on the show you'd like to see from the list to the right. After a few seconds pause, while it loads, the show should start automatically. If you want to pause the display hovering the mouse pointer over the image on screen brings up a control bar with pause, advance and back buttons on it. On a Windows PC, if you wish to remove your Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome toolbars, status bar etc. for a clearer view of the show press the F11 key. Press it again to restore the web browser. Users of other browsers or Apple Macs should consult their documentation or browser help files for the equivalent action.


INTERNET EXPLORER 9

If you are running Internet Explorer 9 you may have problems running slideshows. If this happens try clicking on the compatibility icon (the broken page symbol) to the right of the address bar at the top of the page. This may solve the problem.
